Abstract

ENTER2019 – the 26th annual international eTourism Conference – featured cutting-edge research and industry case studies on the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in travel and tourism. Organized by the International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism (IFITT), ENTER2019 took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from January 30 to February 1, 2019. This year’s conference theme, “eTourism: Towards a Sustainable Digital Society” was an invitation to researchers and practitioners to discuss the role of ICTs and tourism in the sustainable transformation of our society. This double special issue includes twenty-four research notes and short papers.
