Abstract

The present study endeavours to discover the local community’s perceptions about the impact of Environmentally Responsible Tourism Practices on environmental sustainability. Self-administered questionnaires distributed among the residents, and a sample of 147 valid questionnaires were collected from the tourist destination. AMOS 22.0 was used to validate the EFA findings. Structured Equation Modelling was applied to measure the impact of Environmentally Responsible Tourism Practices on environmental sustainability. The results of the investigation revealed that destination communities perceive environmentally responsible tourism practices have a significant role in achieving environmental sustainability. Thus the findings of the inquiry recommend implications for the successful implementation of environmentally responsible tourism practices.
